The CRT stand at the biggest horse show in Australasia won many admirers for its professionalism and quality service.
More than 50,000 people from both local and overseas attended the annual Equitana Festival over four days in Melbourne recently.
Mark Flanders, Sales Manager, Animal Health, Nutrition and Fencing, CRT, Victoria said the feedback was very positive.
“CRT represented three of our members – Pakenham Produce, Traralgon Stock Supplies, and Moe Farm and Equine. We were well supported by our suppliers – Virbac, Kelato, Zoetis, Bayer, Heiniger and Philmac,’’ Mark said.
“We had organised the site for CRT members and also produced a CRT ‘We know Equine’ catalogue to help promote our key equine stores across Victoria.
“I am pleased to say our site was a hive of activity each day and we had a record number of sales from it.”
Mark said the support shown from members and suppliers was incredible. “I’d like to thank Kalinda and Sarah (Pakenham Produce), Jade (Traralgon Stock Supplies) and Di (Moe Farm and Equine) for the huge effort they put in before and during the event,’’ he added.
“Philmac ran a competition to win a custom made saddle to the value of $3300 which we were lucky enough to have drawn by event director, Rod Lockwood, in the John Deere Arena.
“Rod thanked CRT for its ongoing support of Equitana and commented on how strong our brand is across rural Australia.”
Susan Moir, Exhibition Manager, said there was a superb range of exhibitors ranging from past and present clients.
“The actual number of companies exhibiting was larger this year than we have had previously, which we believe shows the strength of the small businesses within our industry,’’ she said.
