It was an ‘Oil Change’ of a different kind for the Local Blokes in Katanning recently.
QFH Multiparts principal Gary Quarmby said the fun filled ‘Oil Change’ was a night to thank loyal clients and
suppliers for their support of the business in the past 12 months.
“It’s been running for four years now and is a real family event,’’ Gary said. “We had a jumping
castle, showbags, food platters and refreshments for all to enjoy.
“Some of the give-aways on the night included a TV (donated by Ancare), chainsaw (QFH
Multiparts), eskies (Crop Care, Kenso), a family pass to the Perth Scorchers cricket for the summer
(Nufarm) and two night’s accommodation in Perth at the Crown Casino (Sipcam).
“This year, we gave away a ladies only prize in conjunction with Novartis, an iPhone 6. With over
200 people attending, it was our biggest event yet.”
Peter Burchell, the new State Manager for CRT WA, was present along with his wife, Lisa.
QFH Multiparts was established in 1992 by Bill, Sandra and Gary Quarmby, supplying agricultural
products and running two school buses. In 1995, they became agents for United Farmers Cooperative,
which saw them supply fertiliser and agricultural chemicals. Gary and his wife, Nicole,
took over the business from Bill and Sandra in 2006 when they retired.
In July 2007, QFH Multiparts became a member of CRT, enabling Gary to combine local knowledge
with national purchasing power and offer a widening product range.
“We have always supported the local community and our CRT membership reflects a strong
commitment and loyalty to our farmers and their families,’’ Gary said. “For over 20 years, we
