SILVAN Australia has released a new 400 litre tank capacity high pressure skid-mounted sprayer that meets the spray application needs of on-property, spray contractor or general grounds weed management tasks.
With everything mounted on the galvanised frame, the power is supplied by a Honda GX160 5.5hp engine, coupled to a high-quality Italian diaphragm pump that produces a maximum 38L/min and maximum 40bar/580psi.
The Reel Tuff remote reel is galvanised steel with a high torque internal electric gearbox that carries a 100 metre length of smoothline hose and fitted with a turbo 400 spray gun, which with its manual adjustment, can produce a very fine mist to a pencil straight stream up to 15 metres in distance.
The long-range, hand-held remote controller supplied, can be used to reel in or recoil the hose when spraying is being done and an option is to fit two Reel Tuff hose reels and 150 metre hose lengths for more demanding spray situations if required.
Silvan Australia spokesman Greg Everett said the sprayer has been developed in response to requests from the local government and land management agencies, larger property owners and contractors, where they demand a high quality low maintenance remote control hosereel sprayer. The UV stabilised Polytuff tank includes an internal baffle and a sump that facilitates cleaning or alternative chemical changes.
Prices start at $9399 for the 400 litre standard unit with one 100 metre Reel Tuff hose reel and remote control.
